As a symbol of friendship between the People of Japan and Uganda, The Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) constructed and handed over the Faculty of Science Extension building.
Fondly referred to as the JICA building, the complex currently houses the Offices of the Principal, Deputy Principal as well as other offices for the College of Natural Sciences (CoNAS) administration.
